Each
client that comes for therapy requires an individualized
approach to
assessment and treatment.
Some may benefit from a focused, short-term psychotherapy similar to coaching
or consultation. This sort of a relationship typically occurs once weekly and
may last approximately 5 sessions. Some clients return to therapy as needed.
Others benefit from a more thorough exploration of personal issues in order
to truly capture and address the complexity of their presenting issues. Clients
are typically seen once or twice a week (as needed). Clients are typically
seen from 20 sessions up to two years.
For those seeking a deeper, more open-ended psychotherapy a longer-term approach
is taken. Here, the individual is often interested in a deeper level of personal
exploration. Length and course of treatment is highly individualized and is
geared towards personal growth.
